A dream come true. Something I’ve said should be happening for years on end is finally going to happen. Live will again be playing in Paradiso. I’ve seen them there once before, in 1997. Paradiso is the perfect place for a show by Live. And they’re doing it again!!!!!! Fanclub members have a good chance…
As you might or might not know, over the past 9 months or so I’ve worked on the intranet for the Miloco studios. As I quit my business, I also quit this work. Nick from Miloco told me he would send me a thank you gift. Today, I received this gift. A double platinum Surrender…
zeroK had a nice idea. A top 5 of albums to code to. Here’s mine, in random order (because it depends on the mood): Underworld – Everything, EverythingEvanescence – FallenEminem – The Eminem ShowBoards of Canada – Music Has The Right To ChildrenU.N.K.L.E. – Psyence Fiction
I know it’s been silent around my netlabel recently, but finally there’s a new release available. The artist that was responsible for the very first release on the label is back! His new release, Dogun Teatime, is beautiful! Slightly darker than the first release. Check it out!
After publishing my Essay on IDM earlier I got contacted by the editor of Igloo Mag, a quite fine Internet publication. He wanted to publish the essay as a feature on their website. I was quite honored, so I said yes. While you’re there, also check out the rest of the site. Igloo rules.

This is a perfect way to learn about new music you’d…
Some of you may know that I’m a big fan of laidback electronica. Nice stuff to relax to. In that vein, I can recommend Brent Mottley’s ‘treeline’. Great laidback music to chill to. Unfortunately the people at Hippocamp seem to have some server trouble at the moment, but linking to archive.org directly works fine 🙂…
Yesterday was the day of release of two beautiful new EP’s on my netlabel Laidback Electronica. This time it was the ambient duo Ambient Ashand who brought 4 chilling ambient tracks, and german minimal techno-meister Lomov whose Unterflughydrant is a very inspiring release to dream away to. Both releases are available for free download.
You know when your country is fucked when your artists tour around the world and start apologizing for their own government and their people who have been able to re-elect one of the worst presidents of all time. On monday and tuesday, Live‘s Ed Kowalczyk did just that during their shows in Rotterdam.
A saturday night out. It’s been a while, and now that I’m gonna do it, it’s gonna be good. And varied. I’m starting with a performance by Adam Kowalczyk, followed by a nice party with performances by Owen, Apparat and Lackluster. So, starting out with a pop/rock gig, and then moving to danceable electronic bleeps.…
